Equine Products
Bandages
The recovery bandage enables the horse to move and stand while keeping pressure on the wound for the first few hours after surgery; it can be removed and then replaced by the post operative bandage so that the horse may return home. Further inspections of the wound and dressings are very simple, requiring only one person to undo the Velcro straps on one side and afterwards they simply reattach the straps. The bandage has been designed to ensure there is absolutely no discomfort for the horse during the recovery period. A breathable, lightweight fabric ensures the horse will not sweat in warm climates, chaffing is eliminated therefore the use of gauze or felt underneath the bandage is unnecessary.
Boots
Every year thousands of foals present with crooked or contracted legs. Deviations and contractures at the level of the fetlocks and knees are frequently diagnosed. These problems have a dramatic impact on sales and prevent horses from reaching their top performance level at maturity. Most of these problems can be resolved if they are addressed properly at an early age. Traditionally several home made devices (PVC splints or casts) have been used with varying results, in addition they may injure or leave skin marks on the foal's legs. The RedBoot range can dramatically improve these conditions.
Canine Products
The body wrap for dogs is used for post abdominal operations and leg injuries. The unique honeycomb design of the fabric ensures that air will still circulate around the wound even when the dog is lying down. Because the wrap is so comfortable and secure the irritating head collar is no longer required.
